Business school is far from somewhere making you relax... but some place making you struggle.

The school starts in the last week of August, while other students are still enjoying their last week of summer vacation. Actually, we have been through a whole-week long orientation before the school begins. The so-called orientation is composed of “numerous” activities with confusing titles, such as “Technology Training”, “Diversity Program”, “Networking”, “Sell Yourself in 30 Seconds”, “Team Building”, “Keys to Success”, etc.

In fact, the major parts of this orientation are: Networking and Keynote addresses. The former is, social, social, and social. This kind of social conversation usually goes:

 "Hi! How are you doing?"
 "Fine, how are you?"
"Good! My name is XXX. Nice to meet you!"
"I'm YYY. Nice to meet you too!"
 "Where are you from?
 " I come from AAA."
" Oh, really? I have some friends in AAA! (or I have never been there. Hope I could visit there one day.)"
 "You do?"
 "Yes, it's a great place!"
"Thank you! Where are you from?"
 "I come from BBB."
 "Wow! I like BBB!"
